EdX

EdX is a massively open online course, or mooc, service founded by Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. It now has partnerships with universities across Europe, Asia, and Africa

The courses let you learn at your own pace through video lectures, interactive tools, quizzes, and peer-to-peer learning tools. Archived courses let you follow the lessons at your own pace, but many of the interactive elements won't work. All of the courses are free, but you can get a certificate of completion for a fee.
