The Peenemunde Museum, one of the historic sites of German rocket history.

Join the British Interplanetary Society's tour of Germany’s World War 2 rocket sites. The seven-day tour will visit Peenemunde, Kummersdorf, and Nordhausen-Dora. Professional guides will explain the history of rocket development, its role in the German war effort, and how that set the stage for the US and Soviet Space Race. The tour will also address Nordhausen-Dora’s role as a sub-camp of the Buchenwald concentration camp: over 20,000 prisoners died building von Braun’s rockets.
